Why You Should Stage Your Home

This is why staging a vacant home is so important in our market.

Staging is so important when your home is vacant. When a buyer comes to visit your home and they see it without furniture, they tend to focus on details that don’t matter much like a flaw in the floor, a missing plate cover on a light socket, etc. All those things can be easily fixed, but your buyer is going to pick those out, get hung up on them, and possibly walk away from your home.

Staging is an additional expense to selling your home, but it’s well worth the money if you want your home to sell faster and get $5,000 to $10,000 more. It creates a warm and inviting environment for the buyer where they can imagine themselves living in the house. A vacant house feels cold and uninviting.

If you’re buying a home, selling a home, or there’s a topic you’d like me to cover in a future video, please reach out via phone or email. I look forward to hearing from you.
